Ahrend Modular Table

In the design of the modular table for Ahrend, material and light were leading factors in the design approach. With the addition of light, it is more than a table, it becomes an object that adds extra atmosphere to the space. An acrylic tabletop with a satin surface feels soft and warm and lights up beautifully when lit from below, the table becomes a lantern in the room

The dynamic shape of the base follows from the position of the light source, which illuminates the tabletop, and the arms that support the top.
With the shape of the frame, the tabletop seems to float, which is further enhanced by the lighting.

The polished aluminium base has a modular design, making the table endlessly connectable and offering a solution for every conceivable situation.
